Hi, I'm Seb.  I do R&D, Hardware, Biology, and Scalable Systems

I design systems that grow on the boundary between the biological and the technological. These tools sense, respond, and sometimes decay. My work spans robotics, scalable system design, and speculative biofabrication. Shaped by a background in creative technology, hardware engineering, and bioart, I build platforms that act as living questions, exploring how machines might evolve, entangle, or find belonging within ecological systems.

I am seeking leadership roles where hands-on development meets long-horizon research.

Practice Overview

Circuitry and organism intertwined into a  prototype for hybrid existance systems.

My background spans creative technology, robotics, bioart, and systems design. I work hands-on with microcontrollers, networked platforms, custom PCBs, soft materials, and wet lab tools. Many of my projects begin with a question about how nonhuman life perceives, remembers, or adapts, and take shape as speculative prototypes, ecological sculptures, or live, responsive systems.

I am the co-founder of MORAKANA Studio. I have spoken at events including Hello Tomorrow Paris, ArtTech Venice, and NEWINC DEMO Festival. I’ve taught at the School for Poetic Computation, Yale School of Art, and NYU Tisch School of the Arts. I've been in recidence at Autodesk Pier9, Haystack Labs, and a bio-instrumentaion fellow at Genspace.

Previously, I served as Director of Design at Clixo, where I led product development, DFM, and creative direction for a flexible & magnetic play system. Scaling from pre-launch to selling in over 20 countries, and in Target stores across the US.

I’m currently seeking roles and collaborations focused on biologically integrated systems, experimental tools, and emerging forms of sensing and interaction.
